Many couples could not find the true meaning of family until they have a baby of their own, like this Chinese family, Khun In Hua Wei or Khun Yuki and her husband, Khun Jue Ping Juang, who are now enjoying the success of a twin pregnancy under the care of Dr. Jongjate Aojanepong. The family feels like a real family now.
What was the reason why Khun Yuki had difficulty getting pregnant? And how did you know about Jetanin?
Khun Yuki: I had irregular periods. We went to China for treatments but it was not okay so we came to Thailand. My husband’s friend recommended us to come to Jetanin. His sister came here too and got 2 girls. Actually, I had a natural pregnancy once before for about 7 weeks. But when I took the test, it happened to be an ectopic pregnancy. I had to have one fallopian tube removed and thought we had no hope. The reason why we came here and chose Dr. Jongjate was because my husband’s friend also had the treatment with him.
What treatment method did Doctor Jongjate use?
Khun Yuki: The doctor conducted a thorough physical exam and suggested us to do ICSI. During the Embryo transfer step, the doctor put 2 embryos in and both of them were survived. Before going through the treatment, I was worried and afraid that I would not be able to get pregnant. But after seeing him put the embryos in, I felt more confident because he did everything so well. He made us feel like there were chances and that we would make it. He was so confident and it made us feel confident too. The doctor is so smart.
How did you feel after knowing that you got pregnant with twins?
Khun Yuki: When I knew I was pregnant, I was so excited. While still in the room with the doctor, I tried to keep the feeling inside. But when I got out of the room I just broke into tears. I was so thrilled that I could not hold back my tears any longer and just had to cry while sitting in the lobby. A staff member thought that I cried because I failed and tried to comfort me and told me, “It’s okay. This is only the first time, don’t be sorry. Keep trying” (Laughter). But actually it was not what she thought so I told her I was pregnant but I was so excited that I could not help crying. My husband was also very happy. Now he is very attached to both of our girls.
How do you take care of yourself after getting pregnant?
Khun Yuki: Actually I have a very bad morning sickness but it was gone after 13 weeks. Then I attended both quality pregnancy training courses with Jetanin. After 4 months when the baby started moving, we were so proud. “The first thing I wished when my babies came out was that they were healthy and safe. I really want to tell them that mom and dad love them more than anything” baby is inside me and I am happy. My husband is happy because every time he touches my belly the baby will move. On the delivery date, my husband went in to support me.
What do you feel impressive about Jetanin?
Khun Yuki: From the bottom of my heart, this is the best hospital for IVF in Thailand. I have many friends coming here for treatment. After I have my treatment here, I recommend my friends to come here too. Jetanin has been a well-known hospital for many years and the service is excellent. Every staff explained all the steps so we knew everything we had to do and we had a lot of information. They let us know where we were and which way would give what kind of results. And the doctor took very good care of us about everything. He explained how the embryos were and also what happened to them after being put back in the uterus. All these made me feel confident, before and after getting pregnant and until I delivered the baby.
The newborn little member really helps fulfill the meaning of ‘family’ and makes it perfect. It is hard to believe how much this can change all lives in the family. We have to thank Khun Yuki’s family for making us realize the meaning and the importance of having this new little member in our lives.
