Upper blepharoplasty
Upper blepharoplasty by laser technique is suitable for 35 years old and above. This service is to reduce the bagginess from lower eyelids and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids, the incision is quite small and is hidden within the natural fold of the upper eyelid and below or inside the lower lashes. Sometimes laser can be used in conjunction with this method to tighten the lower eyelid skin.
Finally, the incision will smoothen and reconfigure areas around the eyebrows and eyelids. The incision is invisible and the stitch is self-dissolving.
Preoperative
Stop smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages two weeks before and after surgery for healing the wound faster.
Abstain from aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E and supplements two weeks before surgery to prevent the severe bleeding.
Notify any medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc. including any usage of a drug or dietary supplements.
Recovery
Apply cold compress 5 times a day, 15 minutes each time in the first 3 days after surgery.
The swelling will be on day 1 to day 4 and will be gradually improved every day.
Keep the wound dry for 2 days, the normal facial wash can be done afterward
Using a soft cloth to clean the wound area.
Do not rub the wound.
After cleaning the surface, apply lubricant ointment.
Lie down with the head raised higher than your chest, the swelling will subside faster.
Avoid watching a TV, read a book prolonged for 3 days after surgery.
Taking painkillers medication if you feel any pain.
