Procedure

Preoperative

Before Surgery

  • In preparation for the surgery, you are going to be required to:
    • Stop smoking and drunking alcohol.
    • Stop taking aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, hormonal pills and herbal supplements since they can increase bleeding at least 1-2 weeks.
    • Stop drunking water at least 6-8 hours before procedure.
    • People with diseases need surgical clearance from their medical specialist.
Recovery
  • The patient can return to work and normal activities within in few days.
  • The patient should not consume alcohol after surgery.
  • Bruising and swelling should have disappeared after several weeks.
