How many days you need to spend in Thailand for IVF treatment??
For those who do not have much time and those who are at working-age, this is probably one of the most wanted questions for everyone. The answer is it depends on the following factors: physical integrity, medication, mental and emotional condition including the IVF doctors’ techniques, etc. The IVF has no fixed time but it could be estimated under conditions as follows:
Currently, there are two techniques of embryo transfer i.e. fresh and frozen embryo transfer. Both are taken approximately 25-28 days.
1. Egg stimulation injections and follow up for 9-12 days
2. Egg and sperm collection, embryo culture and embryo transfer for 8-9 days.
3. Pregnancy testing period for 10 days
Normally, the doctor will consider the patient's physical condition whether using a fresh or frozen embryo transfer technique. For these 25-28 days, it does not include the check-up date, the physical preparation period and period for physical recovering in the case of embryo transfer in the next menstrual cycle.
